What Are Cookies
An HTTP cookie (also called web cookie, Internet cookie, browser cookie, or simply cookie) is a small piece of data sent from a website and stored on the user’s computer by the user’s web browser while the user is browsing. Cookies were designed to be a reliable mechanism for websites to remember stateful information (such as items added in the shopping cart in an online store) or to record the user’s browsing activity (including clicking particular buttons, logging in, or recording which pages were visited in the past). They can also be used to remember arbitrary pieces of information that the user previously entered into form fields such as names, addresses, passwords, and credit-card numbers.wikipedia
So cookies are text files that are stored on your computer every time you visit a site and that contain information related to navigation.
Based on the use made of cookies, a distinction can be made between:
- technical cookies: they contain information necessary to allow the use of the site or to provide a better user experience (these include support cookies for managing authentication, managing comments or those related to searching on the site)
- analytical cookies: they collect anonymous information on traffic and on the use of the site, but without identifying users
- profiling cookies: they are used to identify user preferences and information can be collected in a NON-anonymous way.
The Carlucci Home site uses only technical cookies necessary for the operation of the site, for example to save the user’s session so as not to have to start from scratch every time.
Third party cookies
For some functions, the site uses services provided by other organizations which in turn can install cookies on the user’s device. In this case we speak of third-party cookies.
In particular, we use the following third-party cookies
- Google Analytics, a Google service that we use for web traffic analysis.
These services can use their own cookies, but in any case the information is collected by the organizations that own the plugins and is in no way managed by Madness s.r.l .. In the case of Google Analytics, Madness s.r.l. only has access to statistical reports in aggregate form.
Below are the links to the information notices of these organizations
